A Professionally Executed Modification Utilizing Mercedes-Benz Parts
A One-Off Creation by Geländewagen Restoration Specialists
Ideally Accessorized with Custom Roof Rack and Beadlock Wheels
Remarkable Fit and Finish Throughout
Truly a Multi-Use Luxury Utility Vehicle
This truly unique Mercedes-Benz “G-Wagen” recently received a professional, one-off conversion to a four-door pickup, which took hundreds of man hours; the result is simply spectacular. Handcrafted by G-Mercedes LLC in Southern Utah, this vehicle was completed using all Mercedes-Benz OEM parts, with the chassis lengthened by 32″. The radical modification was performed with extreme attention to detail, giving the impression of a factory build.
Inside, the G-Wagen maintains a stock feel with its factory sunroof and wood veneer dash. The four gray leather bucket seats include heaters and the rear seats fold forward for extra interior cargo space. The vehicle was lifted 2″ and rides on 16″ Hutchinson Beadlock alloy wheels with Toyo M/T off-road tires. The Custom Pickup’s imposing look is further accentuated by the full-width custom roof rack.
The fully finished rear cargo area is completed in the same metallic anthracite as the G-Wagen’s body and features a side-opening tailgate with spare-wheel carrier. The full-width rear window is a significant improvement over the standard G-Wagen and provides excellent rear visibility.
The Geländewagen has been a great success for Mercedes-Benz throughout the world, with their oversized scale and rugged construction, but the lineup has never included a factory-built pickup. This beautifully finished one-of-a-kind Custom Pickup is sure to attract the attention of those in the know, all while providing an extra measure of utility and convenience. |
